Adult Individual Therapy
At different points in life, most of us find ourselves needing more support than we can provide on our own. The weight of work, family responsibilities, relationships, financial pressures, and daily demands can quietly build over time. When experiences of systemic injustice, racism, cultural marginalization, gender- or identity-based discrimination, or harms related to sexual orientation are layered on top, it can feel overwhelming, exhausting, and at times even hopeless.
You don’t have to carry all of that by yourself.
My work is grounded in relational therapy, which means I believe healing happens within safe, authentic connection. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you, it’s about creating a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin to untangle what you’ve been holding. Together, we will explore the patterns, relationships, and experiences that have shaped you, while honoring the strengths and resilience that already exist within you.
I show up with authenticity and openness, and I invite the same from you, at your own pace. Building a strong, collaborative therapeutic relationship is central to our work. It is important to me that you feel safe enough to speak honestly, question openly, and explore deeply. Through this process, we strengthen your capacity to navigate stress, respond rather than react, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.
Our work will be guided by goals that feel meaningful to you. Together, we will clarify what you hope to gain from therapy and move thoughtfully toward those aims, while also making space for what unfolds along the way.
Individual therapy for adults is typically scheduled once per week for 50 minutes to allow for consistency and depth. Additional 25-minute sessions can be arranged for supportive check-ins when needed. Frequency of sessions is discussed during the initial consultation and revisited as your needs evolve.
Sessions are available in person in Los Angeles or via secure video for clients in California, Virginia, Maine, Oregon, or Florida.
Wherever you are starting from, therapy can be a place to feel steadied, supported, and more connected, both to yourself and to the relationships that matter most.
